Aspen Dental at 3320 Alpine Avenue Northwest, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment as a new patient, but the doors were locked. Another patient came up and banged on the door until we were let in. They do not open until 10 on Thursdays, but expect patients to come in a locked door. I had my x-rays, which required two techs, and then waited for the hygienist to see me. I was then informed she was out sick, so no exam would be preformed. After waiting some more, I talked to the doctor for 5 minutes. The scheduling manager, Will, came in about three times to see if I was ready to schedule yet. When I did get to that point, about an hour into it, I could get an appointment for a filling soon, but a cleaning would be 6 weeks out. The chairs were dirty, and the techs were at the chair next to me complaining about another patient while I waited. I was offered an oral cancer screening, but I declined, as they would not tell me the cost, and I had to sign my decline. I also declined a $45 fluoride treatment. I was hoping for a regular cleaning appointment, and open availability, but this office falls short, and the length of the appointment is unacceptable.
